NetMechanic Adds 19,000 Subscribers to Keynote’s Red Alert Division
SAN MATEO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May 14, 2002- Keynote Systems (Nasdaq:KEYN), The Internet Performance Authority®, today announced the acquisition of NetMechanic®, a privately held company based in Huntsville, Alabama. NetMechanic is an award-winning supplier of testing services used by Webmasters to test, improve and monitor Web sites. NetMechanic will join Keynote’s Red Alert division based in Plano, Texas. Red Alert is a leading provider of accessibility monitoring and real time alert services for Internet-connected devices, URLs and transactions. NetMechanic currently has approximately 19,000 individual subscribers to its services worldwide.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
