Marianne Van Meter, M.B.A., Managing Partner, founded Legacy Capital in 1994, and is actively involved in providing financial advisory services to closely-held companies in various industries and in representing buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions. Marianne began her investment banking career as an Associate in Mergers and Acquisitions with Morgan Stanley in New York. She is a Registered Representative and a Registered Principal with FINRA. She has served on the Executive Committee of The Idea Village since 2017 and as an Entrepreneur in Residence and an Investor in Residence for VillageX, a late-stage accelerator for tech-enabled startups.
Education
Marianne graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Iowa, earning a B.S. with Honors in Economics. She received Mortar Board, Omicron Delta Kappa and Omicron Delta Epsilon honors. She earned her MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
